I have been offerd a great new job which would change my and my familys life completly. So i approached elite after finding them on the web. I was given duncan as my instructor and would like to say from the word go i had every confidence in having the right instructor.
His pateince and understanding of his job gave me the belief i needed to go on and pass my test first time. Unlike some companys elite did everything and so much more to get me to test. Hey pete, thanks for everything if it wasn't for you I wouldn't be driving today. You are a great instructor with a great passion for your job! Before I started driving with you I thought I would never pass and had lost all hope. You made me feel very comfortable and at ease while in the car, especially with your stupid humour hahaha not a lesson went by that we didn't have a laugh. Although we had a laugh you really taught me well, by explaining things as simple as possible for me to understand. I would definately reccomend you to all my friends that are wanting to drive as you are outgoing and so easy to get along with! Thanks again for everything pete!!!

“Elite had a great lesson package which worked out at a fairly reasonable price. Having already been driving other vehicles for a while, my first lesson was straight out onto the road, 7 lessons later and I had my test passed first time. I really can’t thank my instructor enough, he helped me pin down bad habits I had gotten into, as well as teach me a massive amount of new skills and techniques I had never come across before. Every lesson included a new element to cover, as well as all the basics to really get them honed in.

I would like to say what an excellent driving instructor Pete is. I was very apprehensive about learning to drive but was immediatelly put at ease by Pete and quickly began to enjoy my lessons. Pete is a great teacher, knows what he's talking about, giving good advise from experience. He is patient and incourages you rather then make you feel your doing wrong. He has good tips and techniques for all the manouvers and is good humoured crating a relaxed atmosphere, He sets you up how to drive, not just pass a test.

Pete Wood gave me great confidence throughout all of my lessons. Every lesson gave a new area to work on and each one made me grow more in confidence and gain a better skill and knowledge of driving. The lessons were a great length of an 1 hour and half to be able to learn a certain area and then to be able to work on it and get better and better at it. The lessons were fun and enjoyable and each one was broken down into smaller parts to be able to learn how to do something well and the correct way that it should be done. They were never dull lessons and Pete was always ready to give advice and help with anything that i needed help with. I never felt as though i was been rushed and put under presure and was always re-assured in a friendly and helpful way if i was ever unsure about something. I have really, really enjoyed my lessons and would always reccomend elite driving school and Pete Wood to anyone who is looking to take lessons becasue of the great knowledge and the friendly insturctors and the way that they work with people. The lessons where never dull and i was always ready to go on my lesson and made me feel like each lesson was worth the money been spent.

I HAD TAKEN DRIVING LESSONS AROUND ABOUT 4-5 YEARS AGO, AND HAD FOUND DRIVING TO BE A REAL STRUGGLE FOR ME AND EVENTUALLY BECAUSE OF THIS GAVE UP. THIS YEAR I DECIDED TO GIVE THEM A GO AGAIN AND MY PARTNER HAD RECOMMENED WHO HE HAD TAKEN LESSONS WITH. SO I GOT IN TOUCH WITH PETE WHO WORKS FOR ELITE, I FOUND HIM REALLY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL ON THE PHONE SO I HAD A GOOD FEELING ABOUT TAKING MY LESSONS WITH HIM. DURING MY LESSON S PETE WAS ALWAYS SO CALM AND PATIENT WITH ME, AND MADE ME FEEL MORE CONFIDENT ABOUT MY DRIVING SKILLS AND GAVE ME GENTAL NUDGES IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION WHEN I NEEDED THEM. I ONLY HAD AROUND 14 DRIVING LESSONS BEFORE I TOOK MY TEST AND I PASSED FIRST TIME. I WAS OVER THE MOON TO PASS FIRST TIME AND I AM SO THANKFUL TO PETE FOR THE HELP AND SUPPORT HE GAVE ME OVER MY TIME LEARNING TO DRIVE.
